NIPPON ALL THE WAY
So we decided to go full jap today for evry meal and therefore dinner we went bek to Centrepoint Mall to this Japanese Restaurant named FUJI. The best thing about eatin in japanese restaurants is during the time where u dun hav to pay the bill, thats when u truly enjoy and dare to order those wagyu and teppan and sashimi, hahaha...
Premium wagyu!!! Me droolssss
Udon again, my colleague sure like noodles, din dare comment on the un-da1 dan3 ness
I'll be back~~~~
So lookin forward for my Fuji set meal to arrive, the beef they serve is premium imported beef......wouldnt comment much though as both oky and ych cant eat them, sure tink i'm a sinner, haha. Hopefully tmr's visits will end early, would suggest comin bek here again for dinner, i have already planned to try their seafood sashimi set!!! :P Yet another enjoyable and satisfyin dinner, i'm truly a happy man in Bangkok, hehehe......

Dont get jealous of this Baby, heheCRISPY PORK = NON - HALAL
While shoppin for their local food products, i couldnt help noticing this red packet filled with some sort of crispy lookin chips and then moving nearer to take a bttr glimpse, i saw the english translation says "crispy pork".....haha, realli jian4 creation, ych this one is too slutty, juz imagine very thin slices of pork been fried to perfection like potato chips to be eaten as a snack!!!!
Of course i couldnt resist openin them once i get bek to the hotel room, immediately found a pair of scissors and tore it open, grab a slice and munch at my first attempt.......my goodness (ok, there is some exaggeratin effect goin on here), juz like eatin potato chips but even better, u can taste the various spices goin on in ur mouth, i tink they marinated the pork before being dried and fried, in less than 10 mins, i finished 60% of the contents and by the way i'm munchin them now while bloggin, haha, Vic and ych, u're gonna love this, not sure oky u will still like this kind of food or not given ur current situation now, hahahaha, hope u wont disappoint us and go 100% pork-free in ur food chain, dont forget tie ban dou fu got alot minced pork.
LUNCH EXPRESS AT RAMEN EXPRESS!!!
Walking along Pratunam Market sure do make us hungry but we couldnt decide on what to eat for lunch.......and then we pass by this jap cafe called RAMEN EXPRESS, as we're in a hurry, this sounds like somethin fast for us to fill up our stomach. Browsing thru the menu, i notice their selection of dishes are quite limited, mostly the unchallengin -dons (yes, includin ur fav katsudon oky, realli not jian at all) and plenty of ramen which looks the same to me. Nonetheless, we ordered their most popular ramen, a katsu-don (hahaaa, sure kena from oky) and a gyoza. Ratings........3/5, nothin special but they lived up to their name, the food came out in less than 5 mins time.
Settled the bill, we gotta rush bek to hotel and get ready for the next client, its a new customer and need to present company profile (what i'm best at, hehehe...)........dressed in my best formal attire, feelin good and confident, did some camwhoring while waiting for Jub's call to pick us up. Till then see u tonite guys for dinner updates (the direction of this blog is slowly gettin too close in ending up as a food blog, yikesss), wish me luck!!! :)

WAKING UP TO A GREAT DAY
Time passes realli fast, in a glance its already the 3rd day i've spent in Bangkok. Schedule was postponed to 2pm in the afternoon, definitely i'll juz continue sleepin till i naturally wake up, haha. Being a self alarm myself, latest i could laze off was till 8am, then got up to hav another satisfyin breakfast and gettin ready for a walk around the city in the afternoon. Hardly will get a chance like this, shops and stalls here closes very early in the nite around 9pm. Wonder whats in for lunch and dinner today, lookin forward to another great discovery, haha!!! Till then, signin out now, will update tonite, XOXO LLOYD......
THE BUSY NITES OF BANGKOK STREETS
Well, i figure i shudnt complain about traffic in KL, the streets of Bangkok are never quiet, cars moving endlessly, not knowing where they are heading, as i walked along i couldn't help thinking if "you" are here with me, wouldn't it be so wonderful~~~~
By the way, i haven realli get to try the local food, can't afford to, still could not get over the phobia of severe diarrhoea on my previous trip, toilets were my BFF at that time, dunwan to get it again. I bet the local delicacies are even bttr than those in the shoppin mall restaurants, i know i will get chance to try them someday with u guys and Baby.....
Yet another day ended, got bek to hotel and started bloggin again, the hustle and bustle of the nite juz reflected me of how i'm juz a small part of the whole world...........kinda emo now, listenin to Katy Perry's "Lost"
Have you ever been so lost
Known the way and still so lost
Another night waiting for someone to take me home
Have you ever been so lost
Have you ever been so LOST.......
Known the way and still so lost
Another night waiting for someone to take me home
Have you ever been so lost
Have you ever been so LOST.......
I'll always be waiting one day for YOU to let me bring u home.............Miss you~~
A CRAB AFFAIR IN BANGKOK
And so my colleague promised to bring me to eat the crab vermicilli (dunno spell correct or not, anyway is pang xie dong fen, hahaha the RAMA THAI in spore always like to advertise one). Weather was lookin good, slightly windy as we walked to the restaurant, located 5 mins away, called DRAGON SEAFOOD RESTAURANT. Without was time, i browsed thru the menu lookin for tat dish, and there i saw it, 140 Baht per 100 grams, not feelin guilty at all with spending (all under company's expenses anyway, hehehe), i ordered it wihout hesitation. Waited eagerly for it to come, the nex table was already feastin on the crab and all i can do is droollllll, haha.
And then it came, omg, must stop my colleague before she do anytin to it, haha, need to take some photos, i noe lots of ppl is gonna envy me for tis (yes, i mean u Vic and ych and oky, oky i noe u dun jia). I wont comment on the taste or wat, evryone's preferences are different, anyway the crab is what matter most isnt it?? So enjoy guys, feast upon it with ur eyes :P
SIGHTSEEING - 100 YEAR OLD MARKET
Along the highway, Jub came up with the idea to show us a so called 100 year old market....oh i juz loved walkin around markets, had so much fun durin last year's Bali trip, haha rmb how many kinds of markets we've been to YCH?? and ended up buyin nonsense (haha, the rattan bag i got for my mum still has tat smell).
Its nice lookin around but i realli must say this, dressed up in ur formal attire and walkin under the bright sunny day is a torture!!! Not even 5 mins i'm all wet but being a camwhore (haha, learn this from Vic), juz couldnt stop takin pictures.
Pass by this stall which sells some icy stuffs, wonder what it is, went to ask the lady but she couldnt understand what i was tryin to say and then Jub came up and told me its ice coconut, offering to get me one to try, how could i reject food!! Paradise when it first touches my tastebuds, the coolin sensation is juz what i needed most at hot times like this, simple lookin yet miraculously refreshing, the ice is blended so smooth with the taste of the coconut flesh topped with some nuts, a great way to cool off the heat and it onli cost u 10 BAHT (1 Ringgit by the way).

As we walked on, we came into this very old lookin house, open up like museum for ppl to visit, according to Jub, this used to be owned by a Chinese buisnessman and after his death, the house is left down to his daughter where later the house is open up for tourist.
The entire prototype of the market
Antique Electrolux fridge, u dare to keep ur food inside??
Hallway
This is where the "good deed" happens, hehe
Dunno what room is this but looks like some dance hall
Antique TV, someone might juz crawl out from the screen
I see Ah Kay and myself sittin those chairs durin our retirement days at "lao ren chun"

Sightseeing always used up alot of energy, obviously it is time for some lunch!!! Jub say she will bring us try this thai local food, its rice wrap in lotus leaf. At first glance, its juz looks like the glutinous rice wrapped in lotus leaf we eat sometimes during CNY, but once in the mouth, all flavours came out.....okla, i'm already out of food critic puns, in conclusion I like it, haha.
Dont judge by its cover
This could be on par with babi guling ych......
The sausages they put in the lotus leaf rice
Marketplace
Marketplace
Honeycomb
Get this, its a stray, if onli strays like this can be found in KL
Markerplace
Need to digest abit the food so we walked on for a while before settin off. Markets anywhere besides the ones in Msia are juz far more interestin, ok i noe i'm being bias being brought up in Msia myself obviosly the things in pasar malam doesnt fancy me, but then again wat is so great about the Cheras pasar malam??? Vic i noe u like the smelly beancurd, mentionin this hopefully will make u miss it even more (and so u'll come bek more often, heheheh) and ych, haha i oledi tried the tofu, actualli it juz taste smelly and bitter, without the chilli sauce to accompany it, its realli juz too "jian4" even for oky i tink.
