Xmas Shoppin

End of the month, salary's out, its time for some pamperin time, hehe........plus its about to be xmas but its not like i'm celebrating it, juz an excuse to spend money and buy stuffs.....isnt it always happy to buy the things we like eh ych..........arghh but i need more money!!!! Been long since the last time i did some serious shopping, went to pavillion on thursday but couldnt get anytin i fancy, in fact wasnt how it used to feel, the urge and desire to shop gettin less and less......mayb bcoz juz poor.


Anyway i've kinda grown liking towards those graphic tees, u know ych those we can get at FOS and that BRANDS outlet where they have alot of tees with creative designs, logo or motto or quirky ideas and graffitis......ok u wont believe it, i actualli bought 9 graphic tees in 2 days :P......and then i got myself a new swimming trunks again :) and a silicone cap, realli need this now as my hair's texture and quality is deteriorating, like dry grass or what. hate it..........din realli wanna calculate how much i've spent, important is I'm happy and that's enough.........oh and i got myself a ZARA vest for annual dinner, hopefully can win Best Dress but i prefer winning the grand lucky draw prize which is a plasma LCD tv!!! Wish me luck!!!

Haha, guess what i found? Trying to filter some files from my hard disk and came across this photo screen captured last time, forgot when we played this ych, some programme where we can upload our photos and it will detect our face to show which celebrity or famous person we look alike.........Haaaaa i rmb we post alot different photos but this one i tink is one of the more ridiculous results........

Too small the word but i'll intepret, haaa oky it says ych looks like won bin, lwp looks like Pete Sellers which i've no idea who the hell, hahaaaaaa and mine is most ridiculous, i actually look like a female japanese celebrity called Kana, get this, its female, haaaa ych always say if i'm a gal sure is a chou nu ren.....last but not least our Willow looks like some wai guo lao with the name of Gael Garcia, anyway suits him most since he also has a liking towards ang moh.

Wonder where to find this software to play again, surely will include oky tat time, but ych surely we got test with oky's photo before but dunno y i cant find any, watever la, find me the programme again ych, to amuse myself when i'm bored..........by the way dunno y it didnt detect wj, mayb too kai lang, haha....or mayb not twisted enough :S

Miss My Old Man & His Wife!!

Kinda miss my parents, was looking at some photos and saw how happy I am while on a sunday morning jog with them, cant wait to go home next next week!! :)


Anyway there's alot of family matters to be looking forward to next year, there's the Bali trip on august which i've booked and also hopefully able to go Melbourne during CNY (finally a chance to leave all those relatives behind haha), then the most anticipated new house!!! Not sure can be ready by xmas or not but things arent looking the way we expect it, takes alot of time the renovation, anyway its worth the wait and nex year oky we can have our jiu chi rou ling (wine pool meat sanctuary??) right in my room haaaa.

~ After Long Hiatus ~

Cant believe i totally neglected this blog, even ych i found out he will update some post of what he's been doing, so devoted........ok, honestly i'm bored now but i think i will try to update as much as possible from today lah so that oky u know what am i'm doing (haha, its not like u are interested).


Haha this morning ych told me oky u saw "ping guo's" post, seriously I also dunno whats he thinking so dont ask me what do i hav to say about it...... and also heard that u're forcing luo han to understand Yoga's song, pity him.........


Anyway yest and the day before was chatting with ych, reminiscing about our lives during alevels at sunway (ych stops me from talking about SSI bcoz he knows i'm full of grudge), got quite a laugh out of it, haaaa oky dun forget u were partly affiliated to sunway where we try to sneak u in with lots of crazy ideas. Plenty of amusing and somehow embarassin moments during sunway, not to mention the air-con ordeal which drove ych mad haha and ah heng keep coming down to stay which realli annoys us at certain point.


And then we realise we're gettin old so fast, we were juz merely 18 during alevels and now 23 already, so scary, gonna be an old hag soon, haha oky u at Uitm tat time also then now still not working, i already worked for a year dy but dunno wat to be proud of. Hopefully can achieve something out by 30 la.


Now waiting for ych to go bek to pgp and tmr he got exam early morning, all the best to u la, this year will end soon la and u can forget all those twisted moments by then.

TOTALLY RANDOM - INVASION OF THE GIANT PINK BUNNY

Ok, its 7.30am in the mornin, was realli early for work (i'm usualli that early anyway), still kinda slack to start workin so as usual i will browse thru some gossip news.............haha, came across this realli random website "thechive.com" which post totally random news around the world, according to their catch phrase, news posted "cures boredom, may cause dependency", this could end up my daily dose of nothin-to-do moments...........



Haha, this is realli cute yet weird and bu zi suo wei in a way, the 200 foot long bunny lies atop the hills of Colletto Fava mountain in northern Italy's Piedmont region.........some art group desgined the soft toy and claimed it was knitted by dozens of grannies out of pink wool. This slightly creepy 200 foot toy pink wool rabbit was erected as part of an art installation and will remain until 2025 for hikers to climb. Wei oky and ych, lets go climb this la, haha looks so fun, will remain for another 16 yrs, i think we shud have enough money by the time bah..... or ask willow to sponsor us....or even bttr suggest they have their wedding on top that bunny, haha...............anyone joinin???

AGE-ING JUST AROUND THE CORNER

Couldnt believe it was already at the month of AUGUST in the year 2009, time passes realli fast, alot of things have happened, some came and went, some come and remain, some still uncertain and some yet to be resolved.........alot of accidental discoveries and confession goin too, realli like wat u said YCH, 2009 is the year to REMEMBER.


As for my career, at a glance i've already worked for almost 10 months, seems long but i'm sure there will be an even longer road in the future. Work has been gettin more bz now, more tasks and responsibilities to be handle and look after at........juz hope my pay increase proportionally to the increase of workload, haha......


As for life, haha oky and ych sure will say "in a mess".......there's been a hell lot of things goin on; plenty of car crashes, occasional embarassing moments, emo-ing sessions, love and relationship problems.....wat else??? Although i wont fully comply to just sad moments, there's been happy and wonderful times but they juz dont seem to last, sighhhh.........Anyway, i've started to "ling wu" abit of my self acceptance but still far from 100% "ling wu-ing", hahaha.


Birthday is juz around the corner, nvr felt so badly the need to avoid the time to come, it juz makes me feels old hittin 23, how i wish to turn back time where we were so innocent and naive and nothin seems to bother our mind (well, alot of things already bothering me durin SSI days). I wonder why, there's been alot of ppl i would realli like to celebrate my birthday with this year.........and although i knew it would juz be me spending it alone in C-10-11.

KOREAN BBQ & A WHOLE LOT OF CAMWHORING!!!!

The crazy gang of FAI

Continuation to my food escapades in Bangkok, this will be the last entry for that whole week of stuffin with food!!! Friday's meetings and conference usually take loooong time with the usual complains and torubleshooting session, how could we not have a great TGIF after the hardwork?? Usual tradition of FA, there will definitely be happy hour on evry friday until the wee hours of 3 or 4am........but this time we realli could not afford the strength and energy to partayyyyy so instead we went to have a great dinner meal at SUKISHI, a japanese cum korean grill restaurant. Been goin jap alot for this trip, and i do realise their price range is fairly cheaper compared to dining in japanese restaurants here.

They are currently having this promotion where a set of bbq assorted meats comes with 2 complimentary drinks and 2 kimchi fried rice for 2 person onli at 310 BAHT, which is only around RM15 per head if u're sharing with another fren, i dun think i can get such cheap price eatin korean bbq in kl and well their portion is reasonable i must add on.......in all it is worth goin, plzzz franchise one here!!!!..........So the pot arrives and evryone in awwwweee, not to mention it somehow bear a similar resemblance to those urinary pot used by ppl long time ago, i figure i will skip commentin on this to avoid spoiling their appetite, haha

In the variety set, there are marinated pork meat, fish meat, pork ribs, pork liver, some wild mushroom, capsicum, pumpkin, chicken meat and bacon. My goodness, we couldnt wait to start grilling those slices of succulent and juicy an tender pork meat (oky, once again kinda directin towards u to comment on all this pork goin on here........). Afterall the sinful stuffin of meat, its time for camwhoring, haha so it seems the group in FA also frequently indulges in camwhoring with themselves all the time before i even took out my DSLR. At the end of the camwhoring, we went down to the nite market nearby and did some window shoppin before bidding goodbye, gonna miss u guys..........looking forward to see them again on Oct :), Till then, i would once again conclude that i had great fun and wholeheartedly appreciate the hospitality whenever i visit Bangkok ..........XOXO Kenny

FOOD ESCAPADES IN BANGKOK - CONTINUATION PART 1

I didnt say that i will stop my food entries eventhough i'm back to KL now, this has to carry on afterall the photos i've taken (to make some ppl jealous, wahahaha).........Was in a great mood to have steak on thursday nite and so we went to SIZZLER in Centralworld again (yes, i've been goin to Centralworld for the past 4 days in Bangkok). I tink KL used to have one but they closed down, anyway, SIZZLER is realli popular in Thailand, i couldnt find Chillies or TGI Friday over here, guess Thai ppl love pork more than anythin else (somehow the non-halal thing indirectly shout-out to u oky, haha).



Was realli in the mood to eat beef and pork at the same time, never did I know that in their menu they hav this combination platter and so i ordered this set of steak and italian pork sausage, hmmm portion wasnt realli tat huge as i expected but there have this salad/soup and appetizer bar which is refillable. Before ur main course arrive, u could get the various salad and appetizer from the bar and typical of me, i already got myself 30% full before my main course arrive, juz couldn't resist refillin those potato salad topple with blue cheese and ranch dressing :P, there goes all my hard work at gym. Tastewise, its quite normal, it all depends on the sauce but pork sausages realli taste nice in Bangkok. At the end of the day, i still prefer hangin out at my fav Chillies and recently Bubba Gump Shrimp Co juz entered my list!!! Till then, signin out now, more food whoring to come, XOXO Xiao Jian Huo

BACK TO DEAD TOWN

And yes, i'm now back to KL, after a week's trip of food and work and food and food and more food in Bangkok. Always miss comin bek from there, eating well and living good under company's expenses, what more can i ask for, hahaha.....lookin forward to the next trip on early October and this time Dr Aubrey is comin with us, hurrayyyy!!!

Was sneezing all the time from airport to plane and to LCCT, kinda worry whether zit H1N1, haha, Msia had this system whereby ervyone has to fill in a declaration form of our health status, once again look unreliable and lousy method to me, i mean anyone can juz fill in the wrong details or not tellin the truth and then this process causes another human traffic jam at the passports identification custom, wonder y things juz can't be done fast and smoothly over here.

Anyhow, i'm undergoin my own self quarantine at home for the moment, even skip the graduation party that was suppose to be tonite and i had even prepared 2 bottles of Bacardi Rum (bought at duty free shop, 2 for 1000 Baht only!!! how could i resist it!!!) to share it with my kaki botols, hahaha.....too bad, alone drinking "men4 jiu3" and feelin wasted now.......

Juz some random post again, came across this very nice lookin crystal rose with a price tag of 10800 BAHT, hmmm wasnt that expensive, after conversion is RM1080, oky ask luo han to giv u this when he propose la, somethin different from the usual common ring which is juz so not "xin xian"(fresh), it may changed ur mum's point of view altho i dunno whats the reason.........Mayb can show Willow this and he can ask his "Nan-fei" to get it for him, hahaha but i believe he would want something more expensive, mayb a land in south africa, then set up a retirement castle and bring us all over there...........

So we decided to go full jap today for evry meal and therefore dinner we went bek to Centrepoint Mall to this Japanese Restaurant named FUJI. The best thing about eatin in japanese restaurants is during the time where u dun hav to pay the bill, thats when u truly enjoy and dare to order those wagyu and teppan and sashimi, hahaha...

The tumbler is filled with the hot green tea, its not brought by us for refill ok.....i'm not tat cheap

So lookin forward for my Fuji set meal to arrive, the beef they serve is premium imported beef......wouldnt comment much though as both oky and ych cant eat them, sure tink i'm a sinner, haha. Hopefully tmr's visits will end early, would suggest comin bek here again for dinner, i have already planned to try their seafood sashimi set!!! :P Yet another enjoyable and satisfyin dinner, i'm truly a happy man in Bangkok, hehehe......

While shoppin for their local food products, i couldnt help noticing this red packet filled with some sort of crispy lookin chips and then moving nearer to take a bttr glimpse, i saw the english translation says "crispy pork".....haha, realli jian4 creation, ych this one is too slutty, juz imagine very thin slices of pork been fried to perfection like potato chips to be eaten as a snack!!!!

Of course i couldnt resist openin them once i get bek to the hotel room, immediately found a pair of scissors and tore it open, grab a slice and munch at my first attempt.......my goodness (ok, there is some exaggeratin effect goin on here), juz like eatin potato chips but even better, u can taste the various spices goin on in ur mouth, i tink they marinated the pork before being dried and fried, in less than 10 mins, i finished 60% of the contents and by the way i'm munchin them now while bloggin, haha, Vic and ych, u're gonna love this, not sure oky u will still like this kind of food or not given ur current situation now, hahahaha, hope u wont disappoint us and go 100% pork-free in ur food chain, dont forget tie ban dou fu got alot minced pork.

LUNCH EXPRESS AT RAMEN EXPRESS!!!

Walking along Pratunam Market sure do make us hungry but we couldnt decide on what to eat for lunch.......and then we pass by this jap cafe called RAMEN EXPRESS, as we're in a hurry, this sounds like somethin fast for us to fill up our stomach. Browsing thru the menu, i notice their selection of dishes are quite limited, mostly the unchallengin -dons (yes, includin ur fav katsudon oky, realli not jian at all) and plenty of ramen which looks the same to me. Nonetheless, we ordered their most popular ramen, a katsu-don (hahaaa, sure kena from oky) and a gyoza. Ratings........3/5, nothin special but they lived up to their name, the food came out in less than 5 mins time.

Settled the bill, we gotta rush bek to hotel and get ready for the next client, its a new customer and need to present company profile (what i'm best at, hehehe...)........dressed in my best formal attire, feelin good and confident, did some camwhoring while waiting for Jub's call to pick us up. WAKING UP TO A GREAT DAY

Time passes realli fast, in a glance its already the 3rd day i've spent in Bangkok. Schedule was postponed to 2pm in the afternoon, definitely i'll juz continue sleepin till i naturally wake up, haha. Being a self alarm myself, latest i could laze off was till 8am, then got up to hav another satisfyin breakfast and gettin ready for a walk around the city in the afternoon. Hardly will get a chance like this, shops and stalls here closes very early in the nite around 9pm. Wonder whats in for lunch and dinner today, lookin forward to another great discovery, haha!!! Well, i figure i shudnt complain about traffic in KL, the streets of Bangkok are never quiet, cars moving endlessly, not knowing where they are heading, as i walked along i couldn't help thinking if "you" are here with me, wouldn't it be so wonderful~~~~



By the way, i haven realli get to try the local food, can't afford to, still could not get over the phobia of severe diarrhoea on my previous trip, toilets were my BFF at that time, dunwan to get it again. I bet the local delicacies are even bttr than those in the shoppin mall restaurants, i know i will get chance to try them someday with u guys and Baby.....
